I suffered a back injury in December 2003 and, ever since, I experienced several very painful episodes each year. For many years, I simply learned to live with the pain until I finally decided to see a chiropractor. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed with that experience. Later, I tried a second chiropractor with similar results. Several more years passed before I decided to give chiropractic care one more chance. My third chiropractor provided adjustments that helped significantly. Shortly afterward, I began seeing Dr. Hoyal for non-surgical spinal decompression therapy, which has been an excellent complement to those adjustments. Dr. Hoyal took before-and-after X-rays that clearly showed improved spacing in my spine. Since beginning treatment, I feel even better and now return monthly for maintenance visits. I haven't experienced one of my painful “episodes” in quite some time. I truly enjoy coming to this office. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and professional. Dr. Hoyal is personable, knowledgeable, and shows genuine concern for his patients. I was having near crippling back pain. The spasms were so intense that I was immobilized for short periods. The exam was thorough, the treatment plan was very clear, the diagnosis was explained in simple, no technical terms, the Dr. and his team were very kind.
